Pete has served the seniors of Washington County since 2007. His roles in senior living and hospice have provided him with the expertise and connections to provide just the right direction to families in need. As the current vice president and past president of Washington County Cares, he also volunteers his time to help families and friends who are caring for a loved one. He is a member of the Upsilon Phi Delta honor society of healthcare professionals and has earned a BS degree in Health Services Administration from University of Maryland University College. His service in the Marine Corps included a tour at Camp David and a combat tour in Iraq. He uses these experiences to support the veterans who reside at Somerford and across Washington County. Pete learned to serve seniors at a young age when he would mow lawns, rake leaves, and shovel snow for the elderly in the small town of Frankfort, Indiana.
