The last seven years of my mother's life were spent at Meadowood. Despite our open invitation to come live with us in Florida, she would not leave this wonderful retirement community. All the friends, camaraderie and the social activities enriched her life right to the end.

I take this opportunity to say that in my opinion Meadowood is the perfect place to live one's later years. I've enjoyed it tremendously and learned a lot about successfully living in community. The staff is wonderful at providing an interesting, respectful, and cheerful place to call home -- and where there is help for this aging process that we all are facing. Thank you so much.

I wanted to express a message of appreciation for Toni and Leslie. They were very helpful to me when my wife passed away. They also checked on me when I was personally in the hospital. They were very kind and I appreciated their help.

The hospitality director Mark is wonderful. I think he is extraordinary. He is very special for the Meadowood community. He has thrown tailgate parties before games. He is very generous with his time and he is very attuned to our needs.

Although I have lived at Meadowood for 7 years, it feels like I moved in yesterday--time speeds by when you are having fun! When anyone asks what we like most about Meadowood, the first answer from most residents is "the people." Interesting, friendly and adventurous describes our residents. One of our most recent "adventures"--free--was a visit to the Indiana University Library to see an unusual collection of three-dimensional artists' books. 15 of us went on the Meadowood bus, the same bus that takes those more athletically inclined to events on the IU campus.
