In October of 2016, it was determined that my mother could no longer safely live alone. Due to a progressive disease, she was having some minor difficulties in her day-to-day living. Thankfully, a local attorney recommended the Horizon Club to us. From the moment we went to visit, it felt like home. Danielle McDermott welcomed us like family, showed us the beautiful facilities and made my mother feel like it was a place she could be happy. So many residents approached us and asked if she was moving in and said how happy they were living at the Horizon Club. The studio apartment was lovely, very spacious and the perfect place for my mother. We hired Accurate Health to provide some additional nursing support and, after a time, medication management. Due to my mother's disease, she recently needed more care than was possible in independent living. Horizon Club helped us to move my mother into a new space and was amazing throughout the process. Sadly, my mother worsened before she was able to occupy the new room and will be moving into skilled nursing. I cannot say enough good things about the support I have felt from every member of this community, from the Director to the housekeeping staff. They really are family, which was especially important for me being so far away. I have looked at other facilities and none have compared. I will always remember Danielle, Lisa and the rest of the staff as they supported me through this transition with my mother.

We shopped around for a quality assisted living residence for my father. After meeting Lisa(sales director) we made an on the spot decision. Lisa and the entire staff listen to my fathers needs and were extremely accommodating. The Horizon Club is always spotless and my father could not be happier. I/we feel confident our father is in a safe, caring, top notch assisted living residence.
