Barrington Terrace is a gem! I'm not even sure where to start. After my father's sudden illness and lengthy hospital stay earlier this year dad was in need of extensive therapy to regain his strength and mobility and hopefully improve his cognitive abilities. Barrington had been highly recommended and sight unseen I brought my dad there. I am so glad I did. It is a smaller facility so you get to know the staff and they get to know you. It is very conveniently located and has beautiful landscaped gardens with multiple seating areas to enjoy. It is clean, bright and cheery and no smell of urine or disinfectants. After a total of four months at Barrington Terrace where my father started in the skilled nursing rooms and then he moved into a short term stay in a Barrington assisted living apartment I can truly say my dad is better than he had been many months prior to his illness. - all do to the quality nursing, therapy and support he received at Barrington. My dad left Barrington with a new sense of well being and energized to start a new chapter in his life. Dad has since moved north to be closer to our family and is doing great in an assisted living facility very similar to Barrington. How do you say thank you to a staff who not only took care of my dads every need but also supported and provided guidance to me and my family every literal step of the way. It was a very scary time and I feel so fortunate that dad received such quality care and that I was able to reach out to any of the staff to ask questions and get the support I needed too. A very special shout out to social worker Shirley, nurse Vermalyn and executive director Bobby. You all truly rock! You are very special people that truly love helping others and it shows. From the nursing staff to the rehab and social service departments to the assisted living and back office staff, my dad and I always felt like VIPs. I believe that is the Barrington Terrace way to make every resident feel special. Thank you.

I don't know what I would have done without the help of the assisted living director, Nicole Davis. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your loved one is being taken care of. She took the time to explain and answer all of my questions, and still does. She knows her business and gives great guidance. I will forever be in her debt. My mother-n-law has been at Barrington Terrace for a while now and Nicole made the transition from rehab to assisted living pain free. The facility is wonderful. Very clean. The staff members are caring and attentive. The meals are very good and the entertainment is enjoyable. I would be remiss without mentioning the director of nursing, Paulette. She runs a top notch rehab center. Her therapist are absolutely the best! Without her we might not have made it to assisted living. Shirley and Roberta made the paperwork at rehab a breeze. They both were quick with a smile and a solution. I thank them for that! Carole and Heather were right there when we transitioned to ALF making that part simple and easy. A big shout out to TEAM BARRINGTON! Hands down.....they are the best!

A huge thank you to Pat, Carol, Nicole and Bobby along with the rest of the staff at Barrington Terrace for their kindness, attentiveness, caring, follow through on all issues and just being wonderful people! My mom, Nita, is in excellent hands as an assisted living resident for just about a year. It makes my life, as her daughter, much easier, knowing that she is getting the assistance she needs. Thank you!

When I was looking for a place for Esther, I visited many facilities. I was very disappointed by what I saw. At Barrington Terrace, Heather interviewed us and explained the procedures and the physical layout. Before we left she asked, "what do you think?" My response was, "you do not want to know what I think." After she insisted I told her the following, "all of these places stink, my job is to pick the best of the worst." I did pick Barrington Terrace and the following is my assessment of our experience. The physical place is extremely clean. The people/staff are devoted and caring toward the residents. During the time Esther was a resident I got to know and observe the aides, nurses, maintenance and other staff. The overall tone was set by Head Nurse, Pat McCarthy, and transcended throughout everyone. The aides were loving, caring and interested in their work with the people. Their tasks included: cleaning, dressing, transporting, feeding the resident and making sure they are comfortable. These wonderful people is what made me feel that Esther really got "5 Star Treatment." I, and my family, will be forever grateful for the choice we made and the care Esther received. I now feel I picked the best of the best, not the best of the worst. I am sure under the leadership of the new Head Nurse, Paulette Brown, the residents are in great hands. I must also include the cooperation from the Executive Director to the receptionist. Once again, on behalf of myself and family, thank you.

My father is a resident of Barrington Terrace in Boynton Beach for about a year. In addition my mother was also a resident in hospice care for about two months. I am very grateful to Bobby , Heather, Pat, Linda, and the medical staff for the care, compassion and happy faces that my parents receive on a regular basis.

We had our uncle living in Barrington Terrace two years ago. Two weeks ago we moved my 97 year old mother down from the Midwest. The staff is exceptional at this Senior Living facility. From the sales, front desk, and Manager, to the Health care staff of Doctirs and nurses, and the many care givers, all show a commitment to caring and patient health and happiness. There are activities throughout the day, and on weekends! Meals are well prepared and balanced, and it tastes good too. Barrington was so well prepared for Hurricane Irma. The administrator and staff spent days preparing, then stayed from the day before until the day after to care for residents. A second shift of staff came in afterwards to carry on and help get back to normal. We think the staff here is just great, willing to go above and beyond fornresidents and their families!
