Peace of mind is a promise
We all know that older adults are more vulnerable to COVID-19, and we understand the concerns that come with that. With months of the pandemic now behind us, our team members know what it takes to keep residents as safe and protected as possible. In fact, residents are likely safer at our senior living communities than they would be at home alone, where isolation and depression may be an issue, or living with a family member who may bring COVID-19 home.
At Five Star, we’re practiced at implementing and adhering to state and local protocols and we follow guidelines set forth by the CDC. From hand hygiene and physical distancing to enhanced ventilation and infection control, we’re taking every possible measure to keep residents safe. In addition, we’re actively vaccinating residents and team members in accordance with the FDA’s approval of vaccines for emergency use.
Life isn’t meant to be lived in a bubble. We understand that mental health and proper socialization are an important part of our residents’ overall well-being. That’s why our rigorous safety protocols are built to accommodate social interaction, healthy exercise, and other activities. After all, health and happiness go hand-in-hand.
