Kay and Kent Ellingson, alongside Jennifer Martin and Greg Herring, form a dynamic quartet that delivers an electrifying mix of Jazz standards, Latin tunes, Pop, and a touch of Country. Kay and Jennifer’s powerful lead and harmony vocals, occasionally joined by Kent’s third harmony, blend seamlessly with Kent’s masterful jazz piano and Greg’s infectious drum rhythms. Kent, a UNT graduate and jazz piano instructor at Collin County Community College, has performed with jazz greats like Clark Terry and Randy Brecker, and serves as music director at Booker T. Washington High School and Cathedral of Light Church. Jennifer, a versatile vocalist, kicked off her career in NYC’s Greenwich Village, later leading a Country Rock band in Toronto and touring the U.S. with jazz and pop. Kay, known for her silky voice, is a Dallas/Ft. Worth favorite, performing at venues like the Dallas Museum of Art and in the Sammons Center Cabaret Series. Greg, a seasoned Canadian drummer and Jennifer’s husband, has played at iconic spots like Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern and now shines at Dallas venues like The Kitchen and Soho. Together, their talent and passion create an unforgettable sound, making their monthly performances at The Forum at Park Lane a must-see event for all music lovers!
