The Forum at The Woodlands is a hidden gem for seniors. It has such a peaceful, laid back and welcoming feel about it. I love their front desk staff who are always smiling and helpful. The executive director is a super nice guy who seems to have genuine concern for the residents and his staff. Jessie and her team in marketing go out of their way to help new residents learn the community and explain what they have to offer. The ladies in activities are always busy with the residents.
The layout of the property with the duck pond and gazebo make it a really pleasant environment. Everyone always seems very happy when I’m there.

I recently visited The Forum. From the moment I drove in, the first thing I noticed was the beautiful trees. When I saw the water fountain in the surrounding lake, I felt right at home. I met a few staff members and they were all very friendly and welcoming. A few other things I liked are the convenience of the mall and restaurants, and the wooded area which is very private and relaxing.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this community. From the moment we walked into the lobby to every interaction since, everyone we have met has been friendly and welcoming. The community as a whole has a warm “feels like home” feel to it. Many amenities included. The food selection is better than many. We appreciate that there is a good selection of food choices. The maintenance team has been very responsive and friendly. The housekeepers are also friendly and accommodating. There are many different activities, from bridge and bingo to line dancing, history lectures, and live entertainment that are well attended. The Executive Director met us on our first day and is a really great guy that cares about the community. The grounds are beautiful and serene. I love that this place is pet friendly, close to walking trails, and shopping. We are very pleased to have made the decision to come here.

I recently moved my uncle from a new, shiny senior living facility in Clearlake. The care in Clearlake was wonderful. However, it felt institutional. It doesn’t hold a candle to the warm, homey environment of The Forum. At the Forum, the residents have an association, make decisions, work at the library, etc. Brilliant! Their streets (halls) allow for personalization, decorations and warmth. It is a pleasure and therapeutic to walk around the grounds and see the ducks, ponds and trees. My uncle has enjoyed his covered walks outdoors. They have moved to buffet style as they are short staffed after Covid, but the meals have been delicious. And, dining with a view of a pond (and a screened dining porch overlooking the pond) is outstanding! I am grateful for The Forum and their staff. I highly recommend and feel grateful for The Forum!

The team at The Forum at the Woodlands did an outstanding job during the hurricane. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and felt safe. They were so attentive and caring. I am so appreciative of everything they’ve done for us.

The community had a fall festival this past week and the staff and everyone put on an amazing event. I had never been to one of these events before but the enthusiasm of the staff was incredible. They were all so engaging. My dad was very excited and it was great to see him that way. They were not only prepared for the event but they made everyone feel so comfortable there. I’ve been in the human resources field for many years and they are extremely responsive to the needs of the residents. Whoever is doing the recruiting there is doing a great job.
