The Palms of Mt. Pleasant Rehab to Home Grand Opening

The Palms of Mt. Pleasant held the grand opening for their new Rehab to Home Program. Signature cocktails, appetizers, and desserts were just a taste of what the new rehab program will be offering to their patients. The new program now offers all private rooms, several everyday menu items, including filet mignon and in-patient therapy, which will be offered 7 days per week. The program is designed for younger, more active seniors, looking for short rehab stays with plans of returning home after recovering from being in the hospital. Bruce Mackey, CEO of Five Star Senior Living, also attended the Grand Opening event.

The Palms of Mt. Pleasant French Club enjoyed lunch out to a local French restaurant in downtown Charleston, SC, Chez Nous, where the menu only consisted of two choices of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Club members enjoyed items like radish salad, goat cheese stuffed peppers, and flounder with pureed carrots, cauliflower and onions and nutella crepes, all while speaking French together!
