Alyssa started her career in the senior living industry as a Marketing Intern in college. She enjoyed working in the senior living environment so much that she decided to make it her career after graduating from Temple University. Alyssa enjoys welcoming prospective families and residents to the community and watching them flourish. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys venturing into Philadelphia, running, and spending quality time with her family, friends and dog, Kona.
Shawn joined Five Star Senior Living in December of 2018 as our Memory Care Director for our Bridge to Rediscovery neighborhood before transitioning to a new role as the Maintenance Director in September of 2020. Shawn oversees the general maintenance of the community and maintains the community grounds. Shawn’s goal is to make sure that all of our residents feel at home!
Clark joined Five Star in 2019. He is also a part-time Music Director for a local church which involves organizing and planning the Music Program. Clark has had an interest in music since a young age and attended The University of The Arts, majoring in Voice/Opera Emphasis. He has performed on stage since 1983 and continues to do so for different venues. Clark enjoys enriching the lives of our residents through our Lifestyle360 Program. When Clark is not at work or directing a music program, he enjoys word and card games, going out to the movies and bike riding.
Jessica graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been practicing OT for 13 years and learned very quickly in her career that her favorite population of people to work with is older adults. Jessica has worked in various settings over the years. She specializes in cognitive skills development and modifying environments to support patients’ abilities to help maintain independence with daily tasks.
Manny has been a part of Exton Senior Living’s team for 17 years. He is responsible for creating a safe and clean environment for our residents. Manny chose to work at Exton Senior Living, because of the supportive management team. He is dedicated to our residents and their wellbeing. “I work hard to make sure that all of our residents are happy with how their apartment looks. I love working here, and I hope to retire from Exton Senior Living.”
Liane has over 20 years of experience working in Customer Service and Human Resources. She spent the majority of her career working for the State of Pennsylvania. Liane has since retired from this position. She also has a background in field operations in an educational setting.
Liane has 2 daughters, who she enjoys spending time with, along with her fur children too! She loves being creative, cooking and being outdoors.
