Franciscan Manor is a beautiful place. I am very happy to have my mother there. Melissa has been great along with the staff at the front desk as well as all the staff on the floor. The rooms are clean and the building seems to be well-maintained. It is a relief to know that she gets three nutritious meals a day and gets her medications on time.

When choosing an assisted living facility for our mother, our family had an extensive criteria list. First, our friends, who had relatives at Fransican Manor, highly recommended this assisted living facility which I refer to as the "Ritz-Carlton". Upon arrival the grounds are very attractive and well-maintained. The dining room has stunning crystal chandeliers, the activity room is attractive and inviting, and the client rooms are spacious and bright. What has impressed even more than the outward appeal is the true genuine caring for the residents by the staff. Residents are treated with the utmost respect by everyone. From the moment you enter FM, you are warmly greeted at the desk, and that feeling is carried through in every aspect of the facility. The director, marketing director, and activities coordinator all worked diligently to make the transition as seamless as possible for our mother. The dining room personnel and aides are attentive and patient. Our mother is quite involved in all activities which are offered to include: crafts, Bingo, exercise class, and little trips outside the facility to local restaurants. We appreciated that administrators took time in choosing Mom's meal mates who have become our mother's friends. It was important to us that Mom had adequate meal choices that were not only delicious, but nutritious. Her family and friends now try to schedule a visit around mealtime because we all enjoy eating there, too! Because Mom is doing so well, our family is confident that Fransican Manor was the right choice.

My mother moved into Franciscan Manor and one of the wonderful things that really touched me was, they sent a bus to Health South in Sewickley to pick her up. Then when I arrived my mom was supposed to be in a semi private room with a room mate, but she was in a private room because her roommate had the flu and they didn't want my mom to get sick. This is where I met with Rex and Melissa they were very attentive to the needs of mother wanting to know what she liked and her interests. It gave me a real peace of mind to leave her in their care. Thanks Sheri

Making the decision to move my 91 year old mother to an assisted living facility was very difficult. It has proven, however, to be a great decision to have chosen the Franciscan Manor. From Melissa to all of the wonderful, caring, and patient workers, everyone has been very helpful and accommodating. The Manor is very beautiful and well kept. My mother is enjoying her meals and the friendships and activities they provide. I highly recommend giving the Franciscan Manor a look.

My brother has lived at Franciscan Manor for a couple of years now. He is in the first stages of dementia. What a lovely place --clean , carpeted, paintings on the walls, soft music. I've joined him for meals on occasion and the food is quite good. His health needs are all taken care of, and they wash his clothes and take him to appointments, if necessary. Everyone on the staff is so nice. I'm happy he lives there where he is no danger to himself or any one else and is safe and well cared for.

Our 95 year old mother has been a resident for almost 9 months. She moved into Franciscan with great hesitation but has come to love her new home and those who care for her as their own! Our family is at peace and comfort knowing our mother is in experienced knowledgeable hands, and the quality is of the highest in all areas of assisted living.
