5 Star Halloween

The family and friends of our residents and staff at Washington Township Senior Living enjoyed a 5 Star Halloween Party. Many smiles on the faces of our residents with the surprise visits from their grandchildren and great grandchildren. They enjoyed seeing the children of our staff and treating over 70 children to lunch, door to door trick or treating and lots of fun. This is an annual event that makes their lives at 5 Star complete and just like Home.

"Wedding" Event

June 12, 2016

The residents at Washington Township Senior Living enjoyed a beautiful "wedding" event. The Starlight Room was transformed to look like a grand ballroom and the private dining room a small museum of memories. The flower arrangements and wedding favors were made by the residents; the private dining room was outfitted with the residents wedding photos and their wedding day memorabilia. Not only were we treated to some delicious treats crafted by our Five Star culinary team but we had a drink fountain, DJ, dance floor, wedding cake and so much more! Fun was had by all attendees!

As close as you can get...modern technology!

May 6, 2016

Washington Township Senior Living resident, Tootsie, along with her best friend Millie, didn't let 3,000 miles and a plane ride come between them and being able to see Tootsie's granddaughter get married. Tootsie's granddaughter was married on Friday, May 6th in San Diego. Tootsie and Millie were able to watch live from Sewell, NJ via Face Time! Equally excited, Lifestyle 360 Director Lisa Spoto-Capaccio was more than happy to bring her own iPad to make sure Tootsie and Millie could witness this event. The idea came from Lifestyle360 Associate Anna Rohr when she learned the family would be attending the wedding in San Diego. Lisa and Anna got the two anxious women set up in a quiet place complete with a glass of wine and snacks so they could watch this very important event in Tootsie's granddaughter's life. It was a happy occasion and we were glad that Tootsie and Millie were able to partake in it!
