Melinda Puckett
Executive Director

Melinda joined the team at Morningside in 2006. Her 27 years in Nursing started out as a nurse’s aide, followed by becoming a nurse. Her experience as a nurse and passion for serving seniors naturally transitioned her to role of Executive Director making it possible for her to develop a team that prides itself on customer service and resident care. Melinda has two daughters and enjoys spending time with family at her father’s farm and traveling out West. Melinda’s favorite part of being Executive Director at Morningside is helping families to enjoy quality time with their loved one by taking care of everything else so they don’t have to.   

Romina Martin
LPN Resident Services Director

Our Resident Service Director, Romina Martin has been a nurse for 16 years. Her passion for seniors is why her entire career has been caring for the elderly. Romina lovingly refers to our residents as grandma and grandpa and expects them to be cared for in a  way we would care for our own grandparents. Her ability to connect to residents and their families allows her and her team to not only provide care, but develop meaningful relationships based on trust. Romina enjoys spending time with her nephew and niece when she is not calling physicians and ordering medications at Morningside. Her favorite part about working at Morningside is her residents.

Amanda Lang
Lifestyle 360 Director

Originally from St. Louis, Amanda relocated to Springfield to attend Missouri State University. Graduating with two bachelor degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Gerontology allows Amanda to have a deeper understanding about the needs of the seniors she serves. Amanda has been a Special Olympics Coach for the past six years and it’s that passion for caring that lead her to work at Morningside. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is being able to bring new activities to Morningside while helping our seniors thrive in the community.  

Jeff Bench
Maintenance Director

Jeff has been at Morningside since 2011. With 40 years of experience in the trades, Jeff plays an important role in the community and to the residents he serves. He has lived and worked in the Ozarks is whole life. He appreciates the natural beauty of this area and loves the outdoors. As a family man, beef farmer and gardener, Jeff can be found on his farm enjoying his outdoor hobbies with his family when he’s not helping the community run smoothly. Jeff enjoys his role at Morningside because it allows him to be of service to others.  

Candace Millsap
Food & Beverage Director

Candace joined the Morningside team in 2015. Candace developed her culinary skills over a period of 20 years working in the food industry. She has a passion for making residents feel special by the time she spends preparing their meals in a delicious, nutritious and appealing fashion. Candace has a motto, “If the residents ask for something, our team will make sure they have it.” Candace adds love to every recipe.

Trish Ginn
Business Office Manager

Accounting, payroll, human resources, no matter the need Trish can do it all with her 25 years in the field. It was her first job as a cashier that she discovered her love for numbers and people. Trish enjoys her time with her husband and traveling when she’s not crunching numbers at Morningside. She is currently a student at Missouri State University working on her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
