Belinda Wren
LPN, Resident Services Director

Belinda Wren, LPN is currently the Resident Service director at Morningside of Chesterfield Village, serving there for the last 14 years.  She has 30 + years nursing experience in the Geriatric field.  Her previous experience includes care planning, pharmacologic drug review, wound care, and specializing in Medicare guidelines for skilled rehabilitation.  Born into a military family at nearby Fort Leonard Wood, her heritage and upbringing had a strong influence in her life, ensuring client focused care, a genuine love for the elderly at this golden time in their lives, and serving them in a calm, professional manner.   She faces life’s many challenges one day at a time, with faith and confidence to help our residents succeed in life’s many endeavors.

Kelly Miller
Food and Beverage Director

Kelly Miller has been the Food and Beverage Director at Morningside of CV for 4 years, and started her career in food service almost 30 years ago, when she started working in a local restaurant in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  She was born and raised there, which is technically the Midwest, but Minnesotans call it “up north”.  Kelly has also served as a manager in her food service experience in a bakery, learning how to decorate cakes; a deli where she developed a “what’s for dinner” program where she actually demonstrated how to make a meal, and at a university food and coffee shop.  She started serving people at a young age, toting lemonade out to the hayfield.  She enjoys cooking, baking, crocheting, sewing, and visiting with her family “up north”.

Connie Helgeson
Business Office Manager

Connie Helgeson has served as the Business office manager for Morningside of Chesterfield Village since June of 2011. She has worked in the Long Term Care arena since she was 16 years old, starting as a certified nursing assistant, then a certified Activities Director, and then later, a Social Service Designee before her role here. Connie served as an Activities Director Consultant during those years, so she is well versed in the different aspects of a community. She loves working with the elderly, and is often seen having a quick visit with a resident that stops by her office.

Susan Owensby
Certified Activities Director

Susan Owensby has been a Certified Activities Director for Long Term Care communities in Missouri for nearly 10 years. She is talented artist and muralist, painting many area murals in her spare time. She uses her artistic abilities to encourage creativity in our residents.  She enjoys working with seniors and creating opportunities for them to live a full life of enriched activities for them to do every day.  Her goals each month is to plan a calendar full of programs that encourage their social, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual health.  It’s always exciting for her to learn something new or pursue new interests.
