She’s a city girl… but she’s also a country girl at heart. Growing up on her Grandparents farm in Jonesburg, MO., Darla not only helped raise chickens, pigs and cattle, she also learned about hard work and getting things done. The baby of three girls, Darla was studying international business while going to cosmetology school, when a friend told her about a job at the Drury Inn as a housekeeper.  Three years later she was still loving it and getting things done  - but wanted something more – “the something more” was the Villa at Riverwood, where Darla and her team help make our residents happy while coming up with creative ways to keep our community so clean “it sparkles.”  When she’s not at the Villa, Darla spends time with her two daughters, shopping, watching movies, coming up with new hairstyles and having fun.
