My father, Larry Kochevar, was a resident from April 2015 until his passing at the end of February. During that time I witnessed and experienced a level of kindness and compassion from each staff member which went well beyond their professional responsibilities. They treated my father with dignity and respect, and as an individual with a past, present and future. And their many phone calls and interactions with me were grounded in professionalism and authentically sympathetic, as perfect balance as one could strive for. It was an enormous comfort to me to know my dad, whom I loved so deeply, was receiving better care from them-on possibly every level-than I could possibly provide myself. As a result, my visits to Wellstead from my home on the East Coast were joyful and my return flights were free from worry-a real gift considering the circumstances. Each staff member made our difficult journey profoundly easier, and for that I feel fortunate and grateful.
I would like to thank the Diamondcrest staff-everyone from Management to nursing & cleaning & kitchen staff & the great activities staff as well. You are all great & pleasant to be around.

Your 5 star experience starts with clearly marked parking stalls, consistent, personal, friendly, expert professionals. Continuous improvement and exceptional family communication are some of the terms I use to describe your team. I believe all staff do the best they can on any given day. Since Amanda's arrival staff and family members seem relaxed, recognized and appreciated. April and Jenell and the activity team complete the resident and family member's experience. Where opportunities for improvement arise, your two way communication makes a difference - and you often bring up the idea to family which is a pleasant improvement.
Are you are resident of The Wellstead of Rogers, Diamondcrest Senior Living, or a family member of one? We'd love to hear your thoughts about the community!
