My father has been at Heartfields for over a month now and we are so happy with our decision! The residents are very nice, welcoming him to the community and inviting him to activities. The staff members are wonderful, they always take the time to stop and talk to the residents and they are all involved in their daily care, irregardless of job title. The food is excellent, like eating at a fine restaurant 3 meals a day. Everything is freshly made every day, as close to farm to table as possible. Family members are always welcome to eat with the residents and are invited to special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had 10 people at Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful meal, and enjoyed meeting so many of Dad's new friends. We've even decided to celebrate Christmas at Heartfields so other family members can enjoy some time with Dad and to see how comfortable he has become. The rooms are very nice and fully furnished but you are always welcome to bring in favorite furnishings from home. We really enjoy visiting Dad as often as possible and we're always made to feel welcome.

My 95 year old mother is entering her 6th year at HeartFields. I moved her here from NC to be closer to me with lots of fear and trepidation as she would know no one but me. I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff at HeartFields for all they do, above and beyond,to keep mom happy and thriving even with a rapidly declining memory. I am there several days a week and see firsthand the ongoing care of the residents; it truly amazes me!

My dad was a temporary resident at Heartfields for 6 weeks. During his stay he received wonderful care, delicious and healthy meals, made friends and participated in all the activities. As a diabetic, he received instruction on how to test his sugar level and give himself an injection. He went from a depressed man to the high spirited life loving man I know. A carpenter by trade, they found little jobs for him to do that would enable him to utilize his skills. The staff was always welcoming and warm to him and us. We were invited to share meals and participate in the activities with him. His stay at Heartfields was a true blessing to him and us.

I am a volunteer from Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church and have been Ministering to all the Catholic residents for over 10 years. Everyone on staff has always treated me warmly and with respect. I get to interact with many of the residents and they always seem upbeat and happy to be there. I have even participated in the many activities offered. Jan, the Activity Director, is always available when I need her to pass on messages to my recipients. If I had someone in need of assisted care I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend Heartfields, super location, superior staff and lots of loving care.

Our mother moved into Heartfields in May, 2017, after a fall. We are relieved to have her at Heartfields where she's not alone and has help with all the things she needs to have a safer life. Recently, her sister moved in and is just getting settled. Heartfields has many activities to help make the days more interesting; residents aren't pushed but many enjoy the fun times. It's a very homey facility with many places to sit and relax when residents don't wish to be in their rooms. We're glad Mom is at Heartfields.
