My wife and I were looking at assisted living locations for her mom. Melissa Boudrie gave us a wonderful tour. Melissa was very professional and informative about Heartfield’s facility and dementia unit. The Heartfields staff we met were very professional, caring and proud of their facility, coworkers and residents. We felt my wife’s mom would be welcome, safe and well cared for.

Further to my review from 2018, I’m so grateful the Heartfield’s staff is going above and beyond to show residents they are special. They had a extra special dinner for Mother’s Day with crab cakes and steak and strawberry shortcake, chocolates were delivered on Saturday, some flowers as well to make it a special weekend. Also, with not having a hairdresser due to covid rules, staff who have their own full-time jobs have helped with washing hair. They are arranging window visits with family and iPad visits as well. We all pray this will be over soon, but thanks for all you do in the meantime.

I’d like to give kudos to the following staff members at Heartfields at Easton for going above and beyond the call-of-duty to meet the needs of my mother: BJ Thomas, Sharon Caldwell, Vera Jenkins, Regena Thomas, Mercy Pinder, Marsha Greene, and Volanda Simms. They were exceptional! BJ is an amazing chef! They provided outstanding care to my mother. I appreciate all they’ve done.

have had the opportunity to visit most of the managed care facilities in the Easton area. I have found Heartfields to be by far the best. The staff have been warm and approachable every time I have come for a visit. The facilities are clean and inviting. Any question or concern that I might have has been addressed and handled in a timely and professional manner. When meeting with Sales Director Melissa, she presented all the options in an upfront and informative way. Choosing an assisted living facility can be stressful and intimidating for most people. The Heartfields staff made the experience friendly and reassuring.

It's been about 3 years since my mother made the decision to make a change. Things were just becoming more difficult to manage on her own and we anticipated it was only going to get harder. After looking at all the options in and around Easton, we decide Heartfields offered everything she needed. We also looked at what she might need in the future and we also looked into home care. The social aspect could never be matched, along with the 24 hour full care staff, and that was a huge factor in the decision. There are a variety of activities available and a resident can choose to participate in all of them or just pick the ones they enjoy. Jan, the activities director is amazing and plans for all ability levels so nobody is left out. The planned outings are always fun and special occasions are always celebrated. I must say, as a child of a resident, I am thrilled with the choice and with the staff. Everyone on the team treats each resident, and each other, with respect and kindness. They are always quick with a smile and always available to help. I also feel very secure knowing the building is extremely well maintained and managed. Steven does an amazing job on site and as been known to stop by my mother's room for a golf tournament update and a quick hello. From the top down, it's a great place and my mother has really embraced her new lifestyle. She's happy so I am happy. It's pretty simple.

My dad was a temporary resident at Heartfields for 6 weeks. During his stay he received wonderful care, delicious and healthy meals, made friends and participated in all the activities. As a diabetic, he received instruction on how to test his sugar level and give himself an injection. He went from a depressed man to the high spirited life loving man I know. A carpenter by trade, they found little jobs for him to do that would enable him to utilize his skills. The staff was always welcoming and warm to him and us. We were invited to share meals and participate in the activities with him. His stay at Heartfields was a true blessing to him and us.

Our mother moved into Heartfields in May, 2017, after a fall. We are relieved to have her at Heartfields where she's not alone and has help with all the things she needs to have a safer life. Recently, her sister moved in and is just getting settled. Heartfields has many activities to help make the days more interesting; residents aren't pushed but many enjoy the fun times. It's a very homey facility with many places to sit and relax when residents don't wish to be in their rooms. We're glad Mom is at Heartfields.
