Every Wednesday our team meets to discuss the needs of each and every resident. And because our team loves spending time our residents, they usually know what a resident needs before they even have to ask. Thanks to our caring, compassionate team, no one goes unnoticed and everyone feels loved. Welcome to the family.

Executive Director

Charlene has worked in the healthcare industry for 29 years, spending the first 10 years of her career in long term care and the last 19 years in assisted living. Charlene joined The Gables at Winchester as the Executive Director with Five Star Senior Living, three years ago. Charlene is extremely passionate about working with the senior population and finds working with her residents and families very rewarding. Charlene finds that her real strength as an Executive Director is working with all of the team members at The Gables to make her community a warm and friendly place to work, ensuring the residents have a warm and friendly home. Community and family are very important to Charlene. It’s not surprising that families and residents say the same thing about living at The Gables. When Charlene is not working she is very involved in her church and enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their five children, one grandchild, and pets.

Sales Counselor

Kristen has worked in sales and marketing in the senior living industry since 2011. Kristen joined the team at The Gables in 2018.  Kristen has a true passion for working with seniors which comes from spending time, at a young age, going to work with her father. Her father worked at a skilled nursing and assisted living community and brought Kristen to work with him often. This is where Kristen’s passion for older adults all began. Kristen loves meeting with families, learning all about their lives, and most of all helping them find their new home at The Gables. Kristen enjoys making sure that every resident receives the “Five Star Treatment”, and loves living at the community. When she isn’t at The Gables, Kristen enjoys exercising, making pottery and spending time with her family and friends.

Business Office Manager

Marion has worked at The Gables at Winchester for 25 years.  She joined the Gables at Winchester as a part time receptionist after having 4 children and getting back into the work force.  Marion grew in her roles at the community over the years. She was promoted to an Administrative Assistant position and then again into the Business Office Manager role.  Marion loves coming to work each and every day making a difference in the resident’s lives. Her dedication to the community over the years and her caring compassionate heart is instantly visible to anyone who meets her. The community is truly her extended family which is why she chose to move several of her own family members into the community over the years. In her time away from the community, Marion has 2 grandchildren that she loves spending time with.

Lifestyle360 Director

Debbie joined the team at The Gables at Winchester as the Lifestyle360 Director 4 years ago. She has over 15 years of experience in the Assisted Living Industry. Debbie feels blessed to have the opportunity to make a difference in her resident’s lives. She truly enjoys coming to work every day. Debbie is a member of the Board of Directors for the Winchester Senior Association and a member of the Middlesex Lions. She is married and has 3 children. When Debbie is not at The Gables she is bike riding or relaxing at the beach!

Food and Beverage Director

Bert Pelletier had joined the Gables at Winchester in the fall of 2019 and has overseen the culinary operations with an expertise in special events. As Food and Beverage Director, he oversees the day to day operations in the department to make sure the best products and service are being provided. His extensive background in culinary, and graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu program, Paris, France. He began his career as a cook in an assisted living community in Andover, MA.  He quickly excelled his career from their moving into hotels. He starting off as a breakfast cook for the Hilton Corporation then to Sous Chef.  At the age of 25 he got his break at opening a hotel and starting his first Executive chef role for a 100 room hotel. He got his next role as Food and Beverage director for the Marriott international. Then working onto Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse with a culinary passion for always taking care of all types of people. Passionate about food and wine and his personable service was growing to be extraordinary heights.
