My mother has been in skilled nursing at the Forum for almost 5 years. The care she has received from the nurses, aids, therapist and administration has been exceptional! Recently, my father has moved into the Ambassador Suites, and can say the same about the staff. It is nice the Forum has so many levels of care! As a daughter, it is comforting to have my parents under one roof knowing that they are receiving the best care possible!

My mother has received the best of care for the past 9 years at The Forum at Brookside. The first 8 years were in an independent living "villa", which fit her needs quite well then. As her needs increased, she moved to The Forum's personal care wing, The Ambassador, where she has even more attention this past year. I can't say enough wonderful things about the nurses, aides, cleaning lady, drivers, activities director, physical therapists, maintenance men, food service employees, and administrative staff. They all seem to genuinely love their work and strive for excellence. They've created a kind and respectful environment where every need is met with a smile and an encouraging word. As an out-of-town daughter, I appreciate the safety that The Forum at Brookside has provided for my 96 year old mother. I know her medications are being properly administered by the nursing staff. I know someone is helping her with personal needs and dressing. I feel her risk of falling has been reduced. I know she's being fed nutritious meals in a social setting. Someone is always available to help her with her oxygen needs. It takes the worry off my mind when I can't be there. I trust the personnel at The Forum at Brookside to do their very best for my mother. Our decision to move her there over 9 years ago was a wise one. Plus, we know that if her condition declines, there is even more care available if we decide to move her to The Forum's "HealthCare" wing. I recommend The Forum at Brookside to anyone looking for a residence for active, independent seniors to seniors in need of more attention. Their spectrum of care has met our mother's needs quite well.

A great, loving, caring community. The staff/workers have a wonderful attitude of serving – they seem to have “joy” in their relationships with the residents. We searched and evaluated the other retirement homes/health services in our area and The Forum always came up as number one as our choice.

From lease signing to moving in, everything went smoothly. At the lease signing, I was surprised and impressed that there were additional papers to sign, such as bank for bank drafts, motor registration etc. which saved a lot of running around. They say living here is like a cruise on land. They are right. A lot of fun and interesting activities: day trips to malls, bank, drugstore, entertainment and of course good food. When I moved in, everyone said you are going to love it here and they were right. My impression is that if a resident is unhappy here, they will not be happy anywhere. I love living here in my “luxury hotel” apt. Thank you Forum for providing a place where I feel I am alive and not just existing.

This is really a very nice place to spend retirement years. Everyone I have come in contact with has been so nice and very helpful. The Activities Director is wonderful. He plans so many activities that are great for interacting with other residents. Really, everyone is great!

This place is the perfect place for me because it has everything I need and want. Many choices for dinner menus, all delicious. No complaints. House cleaning help for anything I need in my villa, from checking my clothes dryer to help with my closet shelves. The Forum deserves to be a "5 star". Just ask anyone who lives here and just ask me!
