"Leap in to The Lafayette"

The Lafayette residents celebrated Leap Day, February 29th by participating in our resident referral event. They can receive a rent credit for referring a new resident to move in to The Lafayette through March 29th. It was a great success for our marketing department. The celebration ended with our Leap Day Happy Hour serving up Chef Jazz's famous frog legs, specialty drinks, & some lucky door prize winners!

In celebration of our communities 1930 decade theme Ky. Chautauqua presenter Henry Dowell portrayed one of Kentucky's most famous citizens to the delight of residents & guests. The performance of "More than Fried Chicken" was as entertaining as it was educational. Everyone loved his humor and of course wanted a picture made with the "Colonel".

Residents of The Lafayette celebrated Valentine's sipping champagne & sampling a variety of chocolate treats prepared in house by Chefs Jazz & Joseph. Mrs. Roberta Guthrie (resident) made the event extra special by playing sweet love songs on her Cello. Happy Valentine's from The Lafayette!

Residents of The Lafayette crowned their 2106 Mardi Gras King & Queen on February 9th, Fat Tuesday. All residents & staff voted & winners were announced at the Mardi Gras Party. Barbara & Paul Mostert were taken by surprise to hear their names called. They have been married for 26 years but still appear like newlyweds & love to dance. Congratulations to Paul & Barbara!
