Meadowood Retirement Community offers day trips and overnight excursions to a variety of locations both locally and abroad. It’s our goal to host lively and engaging outings that stimulate the mind and the heart. Experience spectacular music and theatrical performances, learn about history through historical sites and museums, see fine art and enjoy the natural beauty of the world and expand your mind while visiting cultures different than your own. Ashville Tour

Monday March 30, March 30th - April 3rd, 2020

See the sights in Ashville, tour the Biltmore hotel and take in a special Downton Abbey exhibit that includes fashions and historic information, learn about the Vanderbilt family, see local folks arts and enjoy an early spring as you travel south.

Trip includes: 3 nights lodging, 3 breakfasts, admission to exhibit, to the Biltmore House and grounds. All additional tours and stops as stated in the itinerary.  The price includes Motor coach transportation, snacks and refreshments on board. Host and driver. Price: $495. D/D $645.00 single. Broadway Across America: Cats

Re-discover this spectacular musical of Andre Lloyd Webber. All-new sound design and choreography alongside the original scenery and costume design, you can experience some of what you loved the last time you saw this show as well as enjoy brand new elements. Broadway & New York

Sunday May 10, May 10th - 15th, 2020

Join us and IU Friends of Theatre as we go to New York to see one play as a group and many more days to see shows on your own. We will offer additional sightseeing opportunities as a group. Our hotel will be in the theatre district so it will be easy to get to shows. Our main purpose will be to join with other NYC Alumni of IU Theatre and Dance on May 11th for an Alumni event and also to attend the BFA Showcase Dress Rehearsal of our newest graduating alumni, on May 12th.
