Man of La Mancha

Wednesday October 17, 10 AM

Powerful, moving, hilarious, and heartbreaking, this musical celebrates the perseverance of a dying man who refuses to stop battling windmills to see life as it is. It features the famous song "The Impossible Dream". 

Tickets are $55/$60 for guests. Service is available at the table if you are unable to use the buffet. Join us for a fine lunch and all around enjoyable afternoon.

Film: Hitchcock's Masterpieces

Monday October 22, 1:30 PM

Mark Acres from the Bloomington Humanities Center will offer this four-part class on the Meadowood campus. Discuss the themes and techniques of four of Hitchcock's greatest films, Rear Window, Vertigo, North by Northwest and Psycho. Each class is 2 hours in length and will explore one film. Students will kindly view each film prior to class and clips will be shown during class. Movies will be shown Sunday before each class.

Payment should be made before the first class to Bloomington Humanities Center. $60 Meadowood Resident. Minimum enrollment 10. Sign up at the Activities Credenza and bring check to Mary Boutain's office to register.
