Scott Hassett has been the Executive Director at Morningside of Washington for the past year. Prior to joining the Morningside of Washington Team Scott had almost 26 years of experience in the social service field. He was employed by Catholic Charities for 22.5 years in a number of positions, including the Interim Executive Director during a major transition period. He next moved to The Center for Youth and Family Solutions where he was the Director of Continuous Quality Improvement. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Scott has been married to his wife Stephanie for 24 years. Scott and Stephanie have one son Austin, who is studying Finance at the University of Iowa.
Katie Petrone joined the Morningside Team of Washington this July. Katie is our Sales Counselor who will help guide you through the process of welcoming you to our community as a new resident. Katie comes to us with many years of experience in sales & hospitality management. Katie is very excited about her role with Morningside and being able to help seniors just the way that she would with her own grandparents. When Katie is not seen throughout the community, hosting events, or welcoming new residents she can be found with her husband and two daughters fishing or boating.
Lifestyle 360 Director
Danielle Tolly is the Lifestyle 360 Director at Morningside of Washington. Although she is new to the industry, she has always lead an active lifestyle. Her compassion for healthcare and helping others pulled her from her previous role in the marketing industry. “With a marketing background, I feel that a lot of those initiatives can be applied through activities as well. After talking with my grandmother about the activities going on at her independent/assisted living facility, and the apprehensiveness she had for attending some, I was anxious to provide not only comfort, but a wider variation for the residents of Morningside.” In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family and dog, Griffin.
Erik Rasmussen is our Director of Maintenance at Morningside of Washington. Erik joined Morningside of Washington in early 2015. Erik has served in the United States Air Force where he was an F-16 aircraft armament systems specialist, electrical technician, machinist, and a maintenance technician at Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria, IL. Erik has a passion for perfection and ensuring top quality craftsmanship of the building maintenance. When Erik is not taking care of our wonderful residents, he enjoys spending time with his family, practicing the art of fishing and firearm marksmanship.
With 50 years of nursing experience, Margo Marliere’s work history has covered every aspect of nursing, including assisting physicians in Family Practice, Labor and Delivery, Surgical, Pediatrics and Home Health. For the last 25 years Margo has enjoyed working with the senior living population. Using compassion, understanding, wisdom, and knowledge Margo is able provide the best level of care. Margo also enjoys her roles as a mother of 5, wife, and grandmother to 13 wonderful grandchildren.

Kim McMurray is our Branch Office Manager at Morningside of Washington. Kim performs all of our in-house business office needs. She is often the first contact for anyone interested in our community. Please stop in and say “Hi” to Kim! Outside of work Kim stays very busy with her family. In addition to her husband, Kim has one son and two daughters.
With more than 30 years in Food Service, Chef Marliere knows how to exceed expectations. He developed his skills working in restaurants and dinner theater before discovering a new passion in healthcare and senior living. As a certified Dietary Manager, Chef Marliere makes sure that his residents enjoy delicious, nutritious, satisfying meals every day.
