Meet Our Team
Vickie Kasten is the Director of Resident Care for Crimson Pointe and she directs and educates the nursing staff in personalized care for our residents. She has been in the nursing field for over 15 years, working in skilled care, restorative nursing, post-surgical and hospice. “I have a passion for serving those in need and bringing a quality of life that everyone deserves.”
Theresa Hexom is our Lifestyle360 Director. Theresa just celebrated her 20th anniversary working at Crimson Pointe! She does a phenomenal job of keeping our residents engaged and active in our Lifestyle360 Programs. As the original “Team Player”, she never hesitates to step in and help out in any role that is needed at Crimson Pointe. “Over the past 20 years I have learned something new from each and every resident. They are my amazing teachers and have enriched my life and touched my heart”.
Nicole has been with Crimson Pointe for 8 years . She has been involved in almost every department, working up to her current Business Office Manager position. Her knowledge of all departments helps her excel at being the BOM and she genuinely cares about the residents and family members. On her off time you can find her spending time with her children and family.
Mike Barr is the Sales Director at Crimson Pointe. Mike’s sales and marketing experience in the medical device and hospitality markets have served him well in his time at Crimson Pointe Senior Living. Mike is an avid bicyclist, reader and sports fan and is passionate about his role at Crimson Pointe. “I didn’t grow up with Grandparents so it’s a joy to see and interact with so many of them every day! Their stories and memories are priceless and I feel really great about our team making a difference in this important part of their lives.”
Chef Susana Saucedo credits her culinary success to hard work and dedication. Originally from Mexico, she moved to Rockford, IL with her family when she was 14 years old. She began her culinary career as a server, working her way to prep cook and then lead cook before pursuing her Dietary Manager Certification. Chef Saucedo worked for restaurants, hotels and convention centers before joining the Crimson Pointe Senior Living team. “I love fresh spices and new tastes! I find that working with wines and sauces can add so much to almost every meal!”
