Jonna Parker
Executive Director 

Jonna is the Executive Director at Morningside of Godfrey and has been with Five Star Senior Living for 3 years. She has worked in the Healthcare industry for over 15 years and has been an Activity Director for 13 of those years. She has a passion for working with seniors and is also Music and Memory certified. When she’s not at work, you can find her spending time with her parents who also live here at Morningside of Godfrey, or with her kids and grandkids.

Director of Resident Care

Heather has been our Director of Resident Care at Morningside of Godfrey for over two years and brings with her several years of experience in the senior living industry.  Heather received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2009 when she became an RN. She is a very ambitious nurse and is always looking for ways to improve the way we do things. During her previous tenure in a local emergency room department she received an award for implementing pre-hospital lifesaving measures.  Heather loves being a nurse and does not know what she would do if she could not help others. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and her two boys, Travis and Jack.  She also loves reading and researching nursing topics of interest.

Sales Coordinator

Karen is the Sales Counselor here at Morningside and absolutely loves to meet new people! Karen has worked extensively in Senior Living for the last 30 years and seems to know just about everybody in town! She has worked to procure senior housing and services and has been an active voice in seeing to it that qualified seniors received their Veteran’s Aid and Attendance benefits. She has also authored over 20 publications on senior issues and concerns. Karen understands the struggles seniors face during transitional times. Her advice to seniors and their caring family members and friends looking for help? Choose someone who has the experience and knowledge to navigate all the options available to seniors now.

Business Office Manager

Rachael is new to the Senior Living industry, having joined the team in late 2018, but has discovered it is a very rewarding place to be. Most of her career has been in the customer service and accounting field where she worked for over 25 years.  She has enjoyed bringing that experience to her role at Morningside of Godfrey.  Rachael has never met a stranger and enjoys meeting residents and learning about their life stories. When Rachael is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband James, and children Elizabeth, Jeff and Sierra, as well as her two dogs Paige and Huck!

Food and Beverage Director 

Kay has over 35 years of experience working in the culinary arts and started her career at the young age of 16!   She started out washing dishes in a restaurant kitchen and worked her way up the ladder to a Director position with Five Star Senior Living. She has a true passion for educating her team and for making the dining experience unforgettable for her residents. Kay enjoys working with her cooks and loves to try new and challenging recipes. She excels at surprising our residents with the soup of the day which is always a favorite. During her free time Kay enjoys spending time with her family, especially her first granddaughter!

Maintenance Director 

Dan joined the team here at Morningside of Godfrey back in October 2017 and has been enjoying every minute getting to know our residents and meeting their needs!  He is always on the go making sure our community is running smoothly. Dan grew up in Arkansas and joined the Navy after high school where he served four years as a Crypto-logical technician.  After his military service, he entered the building maintenance field and has never looked back.  He has been married for over 20 years and when he’s not here taking care of our residents, he enjoys spending time with friends and family.
