Meet Our Team
We welcome Lori Hawkes to Springs Village Care Center as the Administrator. Lori has been a nurse for 26 years, working in such settings as med/surgery, oncology, home health care, assisted living and skilled nursing. Lori’s career mostly has been geriatric population, as her love for seniors is exuberant. Lori started her career with Springs Village in 2015 as the Assistant Director of Nursing, then becoming the Director of Nursing. During that time, Springs Village Care Center earned the Silver Award for Quality Care, a five star rating from CMS and a deficiency free survey. When the opportunity arose for me to become the administrator, it just made sense to step Lori into the role of an Administrator. Lori graciously accepted the challenge and continue her professional career in Long Term Care.
Penny Hepworth has been at Springs Village Care Center for over nine years. She started as a CNA while going to nursing school to achieve her RN degree and later earning her Bachelor’s degree. Penny is a native to Colorado, born in Pueblo, Colorado. Growing up she was no stranger to farming, riding horses every Saturday was her favorite thing to do as a child. She has been married for 43 years and with nine children, with 23 grandchildren.
Penny sees life as always an adventure with a love to learn new things. Growing up on a farm she learned from her parents the value of hard work and when you say you are going to do something you do your best to do it! Therefore, her goal as Director of Nursing is to make a difference and to always do the best.
