Fredericksburg’s German Roots: Stories of Heritage & History

August 12 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Hosted by: Heritage Place of Fredericksburg

Join us for a fascinating afternoon as local historian Glenn Tribes takes us on a journey through the rich German heritage of Fredericksburg. From the early days of settlement to the vibrant community it is today, you’ll hear the inspiring stories of the families who helped shape this beloved town. In addition to Glenn’s engaging presentation, you’ll have the chance to meet some of our very own residents—local historians in their own right—who will share personal memories and reflections on their family’s legacy in Fredericksburg.

What to Expect:
A historical presentation by Glenn Tribes.
Resident-led storytelling and shared memories.
A welcoming space for you to share your own family history.
Light refreshments and drinks.
Guided tours of our community with staff and leadership available to answer questions.

Come experience the spirit of Fredericksburg and see how our community honors history while embracing the future. We’d love to hear your story, too!

RSVP today! This event is free and open to the public. Guests are welcome to bring a friend.
