Adult Day Care: Many Five Star Senior Living communities offer day care for seniors who need care and assistance during the day while their primary caregiver is at work or otherwise occupied during daytime hours. Instead of staying at home alone, seniors can come to the senior living community for monitoring and assistance, as well as for social interaction and recreational activities, which often can help improve or delay physical and cognitive decline.

Hospice Care: For patients at the end of life and their families, many Five Star communities offer compassionate counseling and care, so residents can stay right where they are in familiar surroundings during this difficult time. Specially trained hospice professionals can provide comfort and meaning to the last days of life.
